The safety of obstetrical patients depends in large part on your ability to confidently identify potential/actual OB emergencies. Early identification and intervention greatly improves maternal outcomes. This course is designed to provide an overview of key OB emergencies, accepted treatment plans, and required documentation. Case studies will be utilized to critique and discuss optimal documentation opportunities along with legal pitfalls.
